What we do: we publish general explanations of the forms, processes, requirements, and processing times that USCIS has made public, with a link to the official source in each case. This is general information, available to anyone who visits the site.
What we do not do: tell you which form applies to your situation, whether you qualify for an immigration benefit, how to answer a specific question on a form, in what order or at what time to file, or how to proceed with your case. Nothing we publish takes your particular circumstances into account, because we do not know them and we are not authorized to evaluate them.
Important note for Spanish-speaking users: in many Latin American countries, a notario público is a trained lawyer. In the United States, a notary public is not. We do not use that term to describe ourselves, and we recommend you be wary of anyone who does while offering immigration services.
About case information
We are developing a case tracking tool that will display information obtained from USCIS systems. It is not yet available.
When it launches, that information may be incomplete, delayed, or may not reflect the most current status of your case. The authoritative source will always be your account at myaccount.uscis.gov and the official notices you receive by mail.
We do not guarantee the availability or accuracy of this tool, and we are not responsible for decisions made in reliance on it.
About study materials
Civics questions come from materials published by USCIS. USCIS may update them at any time. Always verify the current version at uscis.gov/citizenship.
Our Spanish translations are study aids. The naturalization test is administered under USCIS rules, and unless you qualify for an exception, it is taken in English.
